HOPE STREET | 'I'm living proof,' says Baltimore man
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - With homicide numbers rising at an alarming rate in Baltimore City, everyone is weighing in on possible solutions.
On Hope Street in East Baltimore, a middle-aged man stands by the front of a corner store. He admits he served time in state prison in Cumberland. He says he learned some tough lessons while behind bars.
For the past seven years, he has worked hard to earn an honest wage to pay for his family expenses. He says he hopes he is a role model for the younger generation. He considers himself ‘hope’ on Hope Street.
