5 YR OLD SHOT| Suspect Arrested in Triple Shooting

BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- Baltimore County Police announce an arrest in a triple shooting that injured a 5 yr-old, the child's father and his girlfriend.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit arrested a suspect in the Sunday night shooting on Cinnamon Circle.

Devron Paul Goodwyn (23) is charged with three counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder, three counts of 1st Degree Assault, three counts of 2nd Degree Assault, and the Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Violent Crime.

Police say that a prior business dispute between Goodwyn and the child's father led to the shooting on Easter Sunday.

Goodwyn, according to police, drove up to the apartments where the man and woman were outside playing with his children and began shooting from the vehicle, then got out of the vehicle and continued shooting as the family took shelter in an apartment. Goodwyn then got back into his vehicle and fled.

The man, his girlfriend, and his 5-year-old son all suffered non life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Goodwyn is held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on denied bail status.
