FIRE OFFICIALS: Car struck Annapolis building; now building is deemed uninhabitable

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) -- (UPDATE): "At this time the building has been deemed uninhabitable by the building inspector, and is currently closed," according to Fire Inspector, public information officer, Ken White.

No injuries have been reported after a car struck the side of an Annapolis building on Thursday afternoon.

At 3:58 p.m. fire crews from Annapolis Fire Department and Anne Arundel Fire Department responded to the scene of a vehicle collision into the side of a building on West Street.

The on duty Annapolis building inspector was dispatched to the scene due to the possible unsafe condition of the building.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and the cause of the accident is being investigated by Annapolis Police.
