COUNTY CRIME | Shot fired inside Dundalk store; delivery drivers attacked
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Recent Baltimore County violent crimes include an armed robber firing a shot inside a Dundalk liquor store, five armed suspects attacking people in Dundalk and delivery drivers attacked in Carney and White Marsh.
At 6:55 p.m. Nov. 2, an armed person entered Modern Discount Liquors, on Holabird Avenue near Tolson Avenue in Dundalk, and stole cash.
"As he was leaving, he fired one round into the store," reported Baltimore County police, adding: "No one was injured."
Two food delivery drivers were attacked that same day in Carney and White Marsh.
At 9:10 p.m., two suspects assaulted a delivery driver for California Grill & Pizza. The delivery person was robbed on Ferns Way in White Marsh, and the suspects fled on foot.
At 9:30 p.m., four suspects - including the customer - met a delivery driver for Pat's Pizza at Lowell Ridge Road and Spindrift Circle in Carney.
One of the suspects had a gun and demanded cash; they fled with cash and two pizzas.
Five suspects followed several victims in their car, at 1:30 a.m. Nov. 4 in Dundalk, on Yorkway at Dunmanway.
The suspects, three of whom had guns, blocked the victims in with their car, then got out of the car and "attacked the victims while wielding their weapons," said police.
The suspects robbed the victims and fled.
Armed robberies were also reported at businesses in Overlea and Perry Hall.
At 7:55 p.m. on Nov. 3, an armed suspect entered the Safeway gas station kiosk on Belair Road just south of Chapel Road in Perry Hall.
The suspect pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded all the money. The cashier complied and the suspect fled.
At 11:29 p.m. on Nov. 4, a suspect entered 7-Eleven, on Belair Road at Cardwell Avenue in Overlea, and robbed the store at gunpoint.
Police said the suspect stole cash, cigarettes and cigarillos.
