Fells Point's Broadway Market to become 'food hall'
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - New plans are set to revitalize a Fells Point landmark, Broadway Market.
Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh revealed Wednesday that the market's north shed, which she said has been vacant for years, will be converted into a food hall housing 11 vendors.
It would make Broadway Market the latest in a trend of upscale urban food halls.
Mt. Vernon Marketplace and R House in Remington have proven popular in Baltimore in recent years.
Broadway Market will include space for outdoor dining.
The south shed will be renovated to house a seafood restaurant.
