Injured owl rescued from rush-hour traffic in Pasadena
PASADENA, Md. (WBFF) - A wide-eyed, injured owl was rescued from Anne Arundel County rush-hour traffic by a local police officer.
Maryland Natural Resources Police posted a photo of Cpl. Lathroum with the owl in his van, looking up at him.
Natural Resources Police said the bird, a barred owl, was found on Route 100 at Route 10 in Pasadena and had probably been struck by a vehicle.
The owl was on its way to rehabilitation, said police.
