BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Detectives spent Tuesday afternoon searching the athletic field at Reginald Lewis High School for clues that could help explain the death of an unidentified homicide victim.
Officers discovered a body slumped over a bleacher at the field late Tuesday morning.
“It does appear there were some obvious signs of trauma,” said Baltimore police spokesperson T.J. Smith.
While detectives await the results of an autopsy, residents in the quiet northeast Baltimore community are chilled by the discovery.
“It’s crazy," said Vito Brown, who once played football at the field. “If you end up with something around here, it’s because you got something going on."
