LUCKY TO BE ALIVE | Belair-Edison woman attacked by pitbulls

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - A Baltimore woman says she’s lucky to be alive after two pit bulls go on the attack.

It happened Thursday morning as Terry Cornish was walking her two Yorkshire terriers through her Belair-Edison community.

Cornish says two pit bulls jumped a fence and charged toward her.

“I saw his teeth coming right at me,” said Cornish.

Her two yorkies were killed, and Cornish received 27 stitches in her upper arm after one of the dogs attacked her.

“I could feel the weight of him as I was just trying to get away,” said Cornish.

The dogs are in the custody of animal control.
