BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Starting next year, Baltimore's children's museum, Port Discovery, could look a lot different.

The museum announced a $10.5 million capital campaign that is expected to pay for big changes, including an "interactive ship" exhibit and a new SkyClimber exhibit.

It is also set to include a state-of-the-art lobby, upgraded bathrooms, new family seating areas, new nursing areas.

The upgrades are set to start opening to the public in 2019.

Port Discovery opened 20 years ago just north of the Inner Harbor.
