Toddler struck by bus in north Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - A 2-year-old child has been hit by a bus at a major intersection in north Baltimore, said city police.
The child was struck on 33rd Street and Greenmount Avenue in the Waverly area Tuesday afternoon.
The child has non-life-threatening injuries, said police.
Maryland Transit Administration said a mother was walking with two children to a corner store when one child pulled away from her and ran into the street.
MTA said the bus driver saw the child and tried to run away, but the child ran into the side of the bus.
The mother took the child to Union Memorial Hospital.
