HARD-HAT ROBBER? | Three bank robberies reported Friday in Rosedale & Baltimore
ROSEDALE, Md. (WBFF) - Baltimore County police are investigating two bank robberies that happened Friday afternoon in Rosedale, at least one of them was committed by a man wearing a yellow hard hat.
About an hour later, another bank robbery was reported at Howard Bank in Baltimore's Remington area.
The first two robberies happened about 10 minutes apart - first, at 1:32 p.m. at Essex Bank on Race Road; then, at 1:46 p.m., at M&T Bank on Pulaski Highway near Todds Lane.
The Essex Bank robbery was done by a suspect described as a black male with a yellow hard hat and dark clothes. He was not armed.
Police did not have a suspect description. for the M&T Bank robbery.
At 2:55 p.m., a third bank robbery was reported at Howard Bank, on Remington Avenue and 27th Street in Baltimore's Remington area, according to a security alert sent by Johns Hopkins University.
The suspect was described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, with dark pants, a black zip-up hoodie and a black bandanna under a yellow hard hat.
The suspect was last seen running west on 27th Street. The teller was not injured.
The suspect had approached the teller and gave her a note; he was given an unknown amount of money.
Police are looking into whether the two crimes are related.
