Valerie Ervin dropping out of Maryland governor's race
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) - Valerie Ervin will be dropping out of the Maryland gubernatorial race.
She will be endorsing current Prince George's County executive Rushern Baker, confirmed Brad Bell of WJLA.
Ervin decided to run for governor herself after originally being Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz's running mate; Kamenetz died suddenly last month.
