BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- Overcast conditions persist Sunday ahead of a cold front.
High pressure to our south and a large mid-latitudinal cyclone combine to push warm, humid air into the region ahead of a cold front.
Temperatures will be fairly stable today as overcast conditions keep temperatures from climbing like they did Saturday.
As a cold front advances toward the region early Tuesday, there is a general risk for thunderstorms as the air mass has warmed substantially ahead of the cold front. Expect rain and thunderstorms early Tuesday, clearing by late in the day.
Snow showers could fall across the mountains to the west as the system falls through.
Wednesday is sunny, breezy, and cooler with highs in the mid 40s. Thursday and Friday remain mostly sunny and seasonable with highs in the low 40s both days. Plan on more sunshine Saturday with temperatures warming into the milder low 50s.
