BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) - Thunderstorms return for the weekend.
A new cold front moves in from the west starting Friday. Ahead of this front, we'll see another hot day Friday with highs in the low 90s. We'll see some late day showers and thunderstorms. The storm prediction center put all of Maryland under a marginal risk for severe weather. This means any thunderstorm that develops could produce gusty winds.
This weekend also includes the risk of very scattered showers and thunderstorms Saturday with highs in the upper 80s. A leftover shower or thunderstorm is possible Sunday as the front stalls to our south with highs in the low 80s.
Monday is drier as this front stays southward with highs in the more comfortable low 80s. This same front pushes back into our area Tuesday and Wednesday and results in additional showers and thunderstorms with highs in the mid 80s. Thursday ends up drier with plenty of sun and highs in the low 80s.
